For more than a century under the care of the Redemptorists, the church passed under that of the Syriac Orthodox from 1989 to 2001. Acquired by the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X, it was reopened to traditional Catholic worship on November 1, 2001, by Mgr. Bernard Fellay, then Superior General of the SSPX. In 2014-2015 the complete restoration of the interior painting of the church was carried out as well as the total renovation of the electrical installation, thanks to benefactors. After ten months of work, the church reopened on March 19, 2015 on the patronal feast of Saint Joseph, during a pontifical mass.
Other restoration work is in progress or planned and requires the participation of our benefactors.
